So what is multitasking? Let’s start there.
Indeed labels multitasking as the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track of others. Multitasking creates a greater demand on your cognitive resources, like attention and working memory. Indeed also gives an example of responding to an email while listening to a podcast.
